A lot of outrageous charges have been thrown at John Kerry at the Republican convention. You could in fact argue that the main goal of the convention is to thrash him. This effort again is based on a lot of factual errors. Since there are so many of them, few if any trying to debunk them, would know were to start. Even the press couldn't handle it, even if they tried. And that is no coincident.
But there is a way to do it, here's how:
1. Compile a list of the arguments from the convention based on undisputed factual errors and those taken out of context. All with a reference to who said it and when. That would be a long and daunting list...
2. Launch a web-based competition with the correct answer to all the false charges and then offer, say one thousand dollars, to the first person to back up, verify and document any of the, knowingly false, arguments made by the republicans (including Zell Miller) at the convention in New York.
3. Launch a big ad-campaign were you present the rhetorical question of the importance of honesty (not truth, but honesty) in politics. Follow it up with a short general reference to the Republicans spending their convention in New York attacking John Kerry. Then invite the American public to back up the charges, with prize money to those who do. Conclude the ads with one simple question, and a big picture of George Bush in the background: "The Republicans have lost their claim to honesty, are they worthy of your trust?"
4. Sit back and enjoy
well, it's a thought...
