so, near the end of his speech, paTACKY will say:

Senator Kerry says, "America should go to war not when it wants to go to war but when it has to go to war."

Well, Senator: the fire fighters and cops who ran into those burning towers and died on September 11th didn't want to go to war, they were heroes in a war they didn't even know existed. America did not choose this war. But we have a President who chooses to win it.

this makes me so angry... idiot republicans always try to tie their illegal war on a sovereign nation to 9/11... this happens CONSTANTLY.

it's such an exploitation of those poor people who died on 9/11. and it just infuriates me to no end.

dim son will probably do it in his speech, too.

1. The media think that discussing this 9/11-Saddam link bull isn't necessary

They all know it isn't true, therefore they feel no need to provide context. But the juxtaposition is WORKING. Polls have consistently shown people connect Saddam/Iraq with 9/11 and NOBODY is taking the opportunity to debunk this or provide the context to stop people from being misled.

The Bush crew is becoming very savvy at rushing right up to the edge of a lie so they aren't called on it, but the people watching their statements will run right over that cliff and the lie may as well have been said.
