and tied in Michigan (where all other recent polls have Obama up by 5-12 points). Here is the story on the VA poll (and most other recent surveys in VA have Obama up there)

The presidential race in Virginia is a tossup, according to a new poll for The Richmond Times-Dispatch.

John McCain leads Barack Obama by three percentage points in Virginia -- 48 percent to 45 percent — in a survey released today by Mason-Dixon Polling and Research of Washington. The poll puts the contest within the 4-percentage-point margin of error.

The poll was conducted Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It's based on interviews with 625 likely voters. The results are similar to a poll conducted by Mason-Dixon a week ago for NBC News.

(so now NBC will be harping this poll, like the MI one, instead of other polls which show a bigger Obama advantage).

1. Well, Mason is pretty sharp...
...but Dixon is a talking, walking pile of crap.

3. Thay must be pretty sharp if
McCain is pulling out of Michigan and they have it tied.

Me thinks it's not tied.
