Is Laura Bush a repub?
from an interview today:

Brokaw: But when you were previewing their remarks and you got to that one about...

Bush: Did I think they were too wild?

Brokaw: Yeah. “Sex in the City” aimed at Grammy thinking that's about married couples and what they do and never talk about. Did you say to them, "Are you sure you want to say this?"

Bush: I actually did. I actually did kind of think about it. And I thought, "I wonder if those Republicans in the hall will laugh." But they did.

Isn't that an odd turn of phrase to use: "those Republicans"? If you run through it in your head, doesn't "the people" or even "anyone" seem the more natural and logical choice?

2. Laura was a committed Democrat when she married him. n/t
Remember in her speech she made a remark about his losing congressional campaign about the time they got married, that "he even convinced me to vote for him."

3. Sad she's so zombie ish
An actual voice of reason. Too bad she doesn't get to voice her reason too often.

6. she is an enabler of "those Republicans" and make no doubt about it

For some reason, people want to think she is the antagonist in the White HOuse, who is really not a Republican. She is the "strong woman" who may not agree with her husband.

And that is bullshit.

She is out there raking in ten millions and more for her husband who has brought us into three wars, and has done so ignorantly and has caused thousands of deaths inhis ego driven folly.

She is for him every inch of the way.

She is NOT an antagonist and she is NOT against him in any issue. Forget it-she does not have what it takes to think for herself. She has long ago sold her soul for money.

As for her daughters--all I can say is that she brought them up-their performance on the stage says it all-and they are not an asset to her abilities.

7. Don't think I'd give her a pass for anything
I just appreciated the slip. They sent her out on at least two interviews today- she's into this up to her pearls; an active participant. But I do think the drugs must make it easier for her. :)
