Dem. leaders need to LOUDLY point out inaccuracies in Cheney-Zel speeches.
For one thing, the remark by Cheney about Kerry's remark about conducting a more sensitive war went over VERY well with the crowd.

What Dem. Leaders should do: Put in an ad or get on TV somewhere the clip showing Bush stating something about his conducting a more sensitive war!

ZigZagZel said with disgust that the Dems. view us more as occupiers than liberators of Iraq.

What Dem. Leaders should do: Put in an ad or get on TV somewhere the clip of the press conference at which Bush himself refers to us as occupiers in Iraq!

I saw McAuliffe on C-Span today fighting back, in a sense, with a row of helpers behind him. But nothing to specifically address these TWO KEY SPEAKING POINTS THAT THE AUDIENCE REACTED TO IN A REALLY BIG WAY! It is vital that these two points are dealt with. I then saw a focus group (MSNBC?) react to the Cheney and Miller speeches....the focus group reacted strongly to those two key talking points.

If we don't address such things loudly across the country, people will be left with the wrong impression.

Kerry Slams Bush on Iraq War, Economy

On CBS's "The Early Show," Edwards mocked Cheney for saying "the black market network that supplied nuclear weapons technology to Libya, as well as to Iran and North Korea, has been shut down."

"He said that with a straight face on the same day that the Iranians themselves were declaring that they were moving forward with their nuclear weapons development program," Edwards said.
