He mangles the English language horribly enough, he doesn't need to ruin my culture's language as well.

3. My son is in a predominantly Mexican school

and he just tested at the 12+ year in reading (school started 11 Aug) . He's in the fourth grade. I admit he's a sharp cookie but.... he's not at a post high School level. You don't suppose they drop the standards just to boost the scores? Hmmm.
