Funny, but wasn't Bush's speech preceded by actor Fred Thompson?

And wasn't the speech many pundits are saying has potentially increased the stock of a political career from another actor, Ahhhnold Schwarznegger?

3. Let's see...
Ron Silver spoke on opening night.

The GOP fawns over Schwarzenegger.

Larry Gatlin has been on all the news channels, and made a complete ass of himself on MSNBC last night when he started arguing with the crowd.

And they had Miss America speaking on Tuesday.

And they claim they don't like Hollywood. :eyes:

5. Ah, consistency, thy name...
...certainly is not Republican.

But remember the Double Standard: Republicans can do whatever they want, even though the Democrats can be raked over the coals for doing exactly the same thing (even when they don't actually do it).
