Palin aces Fox News open-book make-up test on Supreme Court (video)
Edited on Sat Oct-04-08 02:49 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
This is really painful to watch, fraudulence-wise speaking. It seems she didn't give this answer to Katie Couric because she was "annoyed" with her. You cannot make this stuff up.

She also cleaned up her reading list answer. It seems she regularly reads the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and the Economist, dontcha know.

:spray:

On the sad side, when she mentions Kennedy v. Louisiana I thought, "What a psycho. That answer disqualifies her from holding any office whatsoever!" Then I remembered her position is the same as Obama's. C'est la vie. Omlettes... eggs... whatever.

2. You are correct, it is really painful to watch.
I made it through about fifteen seconds.

Whoever compared her to Evita Peron was right on the money.

That New York Times answer is not going to help her with the base. :D (It's a biased, commie-pinko rag, dontcha know).

18. True, as always...
but the camera angle, lighting, setting, styling etc. seems designed to be flattering.

7. Diarrhea of the mouth, like a child who's gotten answers from the back of the book...

...and wants to spew them all out before he forgets them.

Her acting job -- or rather the lack of it -- is so awful that it's worse than if she'd let the whole thing drop.

I can't believe it's okay with the media to allow someone so close to the presidency with almost no vetting whatsoever.

Every day they ticked off how long it had been since Obama's interviews and since he'd been to Iraq. For months and months, we got to hear them say about Obama "Who is this guy and what does he stand for?" after running for a year and with a published biography and two dozen detailed position papers on his website.

The job requirements for VP are no different than for President. That's always true, but especially with a running mate of McCain's age. She could be President by Inauguration Day.

The story about Palin is that nobody really knows her. We should be hearing about that every day until she's allowed out of her hermetically sealed container.

8. So there are cases 'personally affecting' her
but she couldn't remember them when Couric asked? Nor the cases which infringed on the rights of the state she was governing? Pathetic.

9. She doesn't agree with Eminent Domain decision, yet they used it for her
hockey complex land in AK. What a joke. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122065537792905483.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

Last year, the arbitrator ordered the city to pay $836,378 for the 80-acre parcel, far more than the $126,000 Wasilla originally thought it would pay for a piece of land 65 acres larger. The arbitrator also determined that the city owed Mr. Lundgren $336,000 in interest. Wasilla's legal bill since the eminent domain action has come to roughly $250,000 so far, according to Mr. Klinkner, the city attorney.

12. Honestly have you seen so many lies in a campaign since...well Bush? And they wonder why
they can't "distance" themselves from him.

10. Bwahahahaha, this is flattering? "sense she went back and looked at the books"?
So, all she has to do in talking with national or international leaders or people, is have every question she will be asked, every thing they will say, presented to her days in advance so she can "look at the books and prepare"? OMG.

Thank you for that line mrFoxman.

She didn't answer NOT because she didn't know, but because she was annoyed?

Not a flattering take.

13. The Matthew Boys ...

This reminded me of Bush talking about how much he liked studying Matthew. But when asked for his favorite vs. he couldn't list a single.

BTW, my favorite passage from Matthew is the one about not praying in public for the sake of others seeing you do it.
