Well there's nothing wrong with MN! Minnesota Poll: Obama leaps ahead of McCain
Edited on Sun Oct-05-08 10:09 AM by kikiek
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has opened up a commanding lead in Minnesota over Republican John McCain, according to a new Star Tribune Minnesota Poll.

The poll, conducted last week among 1,084 likely voters, found that 55 percent support Obama, while 37 percent back McCain.

1. I thought this was pretty encouraging.
I'd like to see Obama and Franken do especially well in the up-north muskellunge zones of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

4. Best part is Obama hasn't spent time or money here really. Just started ads
in the last couple days. He can stay where he is needed.

5. Yes. A lot of his support comes from his own virtues.
By contrast, a lot of the tanking in the polls for McCain lately results from his personality deficit.

3. We should challenge our fellow Midwesterners to see who can poll the highest for Obama.
