Zell reminds me of Pat in '92

Back in 1992, my mother was an independent voter. She usually voted for the Democrats, but she didn't want to be a member of a political party. However, after Pat Buchanan's 1992 "culture war" speech, she instantly became a Democrat and changed her registration.

Now, after Zell's schpeal last night, how many independents came to our side? Certainly more than went to the Republicans, that's for sure.
