I'm confused, so where do the good Americans live?
Palin throws East Coasters under the bus in the debate. The same day McCain gives up on the people of Michigan. They both hate the Hollywood liberal elite. Now apparently Chicago isn't up to the McCain high standards. So where exactly do these Joe-six pack Americans live? If you take out the East Coast, Chicago and California isn't that like almost the entire population of the US. So McCain is running for president wanting to represent the 100 or so Alaskans that want to succeed from the US?

9. I would say Texas, but she pissed Texans off when she described
Texas as being "like Alaska's little sister."

WTF?

10. Cincinnati Ohio
the last city in Murka where Bush can draw a crowd. McCain's been there something like 100X.

12. And yet, there are very few McCain bumper stickers here in Cincinnati..
mostly just Obama. I think the bulk of his support is in the suburbs.. go figure.

15. considering the white flight that's occurred & is continuing
that's not surprising at all.

everytime i go back to visit the parents the urban core of cincinnati seems more & more hollowed out, historic buildings replaced with parking lots & drive thrus. gutted is the word that comes to mind.

last month i got bummed for change & cigarettes at a gas station that was, 20 years ago, in the whitest of white german/irish catholic westside suburbs - st. martin's parish in cheviot.
