John McCain has a rich history of doing shitty things and then feeling bad about it. Cheating on his first wife, being one of the Keating Five. This weekend, McCain dispatched Sarah Palin to make what the AP called "racially tinged" attacks on Senator Obama.

McCain has previously apologized for his opposition to the federal MLK Jr. holiday, and for refusing to call for the removal of a Confederate flag from South Carolina's Capitol.
