People talking about killing Ayers at Palin's rally and people calling Obama a terrorist at McCain's rally really shows how bad things have gotten....and what's worse is that McCain's campaign is basically egging this talk on by questioning Obama's patriotism.

I can't begin to explain how irresponsible it is to level such charges and pursue this strategy, especially with the first black candidate on a major ticket. Don't they know they are playing with fire with their stupid, gun-loving base?

I am disgusted with the McCain campaign. This has gone beyond a simple political disagreement, and it is now entering very, very dangerous territory.

4. If SOMEONE doesn't ask McCain what happened to his big fancy pledge
to run a "clean campaign" at the debate tomorrow night, it will be a wasted opportunity. The only way that will happen is if REAL people (not plants) are allowed to ask REAL questions (not made up ones). Remember back in April? McCain to anyone who would listen: Respectful/dignified/honorable/blah blah blah :puke:

5. Will the media bite?
That is the question. If they do not bite, it severely cripples McCain further--he has two debates in which to change the American people's minds. If he fails to do it then, he's forked.

6. Who knows. If there are more days like this in terms of the stock market, I think McCain's attacks
will take a backseat.
