2. Anderson is questioning what's the big deal. The reporter is making it sound sinister.
Investing in schools is ooooh, sinister!

10. Yes, he asked the right questions.
It showed their basic "ties" were for the greater good with all the details about school funds project.

3. Thank you. I just saw it. $%^&*&(*)()
Now, because Obama and Ayers 'had a relationship' to further many educational programs in Chicago, 'it's a matter of trust'? IIRC, I've read they were on a charitable board together. I didn't know what the extent of that was, but there is no ill will there, Ayers and Obama were 'good enough' to get something done, they both worked to educate people.

Too bad that reporter, McLoony and Palin never had the benefit of that education.:grr:

8. Exactly - their connection is no different than the relationship between
co-workers. Their paths crossed, end of story.

But, on the other hand, they did have a relationship and Obama's career was started in Ayers' living room.

I hope and pray that people see right thru this.

14. Do you know the story about Alice Palmer and Obama re his running for the state senate seat and
why it isn't surprising that she didn't back up Obama?

4. Looked like a slam piece. I'm not surprised that Alice Palmer and her supporters aren't
trying to help Obama out by clarifying the first meeting since she and Obama had a bit of a problem not too long after that.

I also can't believe they used a National Review jackass like he was just an unbiased reporter.

Scummy piece.

He also didn't bother to say that Obama was 8 years old when Ayers was doing his crap. bleeh.

12. Who was the reporter? Was it sleezy right wing tool Stanly Kurtz?

If so, CNN should have definitely labeled him for what he is....a sleezy right wing tool.

13. Yes. They labeled him "National Review" but if you didn't know that made him a RW tool then you
would be clueless.

17. Kurtz was a source and was identified as such
The reporter was some blond-haired Biff Square Jaw type. He was really proud of his little hit piece until Anderson started questioning him on its relevance and he got very defensive.

9. Palin's crap had the desired effect, that's what all
the MSM is has been talking about for the last 24 hours. They say the candidates don't talk about issues well I have no idea what anyone talked about today but Ayers. I think Obama should confront that coward McCain and just say tell me to my face if you think I am a terrorist or else shut the fuck up.

16. Of course they have all been talking about Keating 5 also
So they certainly did talk about Ayers but they have spent nearly even time talking about Keating 5 today. Nice way to combat this.
