"Hockey Mom" Special in Pittsburgh Friday: $25,000 to talk w/ Palin, $10,000 for a pix w/ her

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be here in PIttsburgh Oct. 10 for a $1,000-a-ticket fundraiser at the Westin Convention Center, Downtown at 6 pm. The next day, she is expected to attend a 10 a.m. rally at Johnstown's War Memorial, Pa GOP chair Rob Gleason said.

It's her first trip here since Aug. 30, when she attended a GOP even with Sen. John McCain in Washington County -- and, perhaps, a harbinger of more Pennsylvania visits, now that the McCain campaign has pulled out of Michigan and is concentrating on swing states like ours.

If you really, really want to help the GOP cause, you can have your picture taken with Ms. Palin Friday at a private reception at 5:30 for $10,000. Better yet, donors who give or raise $25,000 can participate in a round table discussion with the Alaska governor at 5 pm.
