2. I haven't seen a single McCain Ad on our local stations since
before this past weekend. Obama on the other hand, is flooding the air with the health care ad (the one with the arrows). I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how many times the Obama and Franken ads are playing.
4. Another really cool thing that happened today is the Obama
ground game came to our house earlier this evening. A young lady came to canvass for Obama - then asked for support for Franken and Betty McCullum as well. I was thrilled.
10/6/2008 FROM BIG EDDIE: Sunday night I was told by Capitol Hill insiders the polling after Tuesdays debate will determine McCains next shift in resources. McCain will trim operations in Minnesota this week and may be out of the state by the end of the week. Obama has opened a solid double digit lead in the Gopher state. Some McCain insiders feel the state is already lost coupled by the fact that Al Franken is now leading Senator Norm Coleman.
Sources with knowledge of the campaign are telling me this will be a crucial week for McCain. All Minnesota efforts will be reallocated to Ohio, Florida and possibly Virginia.
The McCain camp is now expecting the 527's to attack Obama on character in an attempt to shift the conversation and focus off the economy. One source told me tonight "We are definitely in need of a game changer"
