Got a letter from Sarah Palin today

It was addressed to Mr. Retrograde, who's been a registered Democrat for as long as he's been eligible to vote. We used to get a lot of letters from the Republican party: Forbes magazine, which we used to subscribe to, sold its mailing list to the GOP.

However, we let that subscription lapse years ago, and haven't gotten any GOP mailings since then - until now. This tells me that they're getting desperate, scraping up old, old lists in the hopes of finding someone, anyone who'll donate to them.

A pre-paid envelope was included, so of course I sent it back, with some pieces of junk mail enclosed.

I don't know why. I make no secret of my affiliation and activity with the Democratic Party.

So far, I haven't received any from the McInsane campaign.

5. I got one from McCain

It was several pages long. The basic gist of it was that we must stop the most liberal agenda the world has ever seen from taking over. It was full of lies about Obama's and McCain's stances on issues.

Last week I received a fancy mailing from McSame Palin with an enclosed photo. I've been in ATL since Katrina, and have never been a registered Repug. I don't know how or why I received the CRAP. But my S/O and I chortled with joy because the mail proved how STUPID mCSame's campaign is. I've contributed to Obama in smallish increments since autumn last year.

I have NEVER received MAIL from Obama. That shows how SMART his campaign is. I would know they were wasting $$$ if they sent me junk mail. Obama's people are SMART. Somebody tell them how cool they are to not send paper to us in the mail.
