Will the media stop covering Palin completely?
Since that question results in a flat "no," then why NOT?

The Palin camp deny press open access to her hooting and jeering klan of redneck idiots, they are denied access to the candidate to even ask routine questions at campaign stops, so why are they there AT ALL? To display the daily propaganda for the GOP?

What's the point?

Do they enjoy being used as free advertising without the possibility of actually functioning as the PRESS? Aren't they "the fourth estate?" This is pathetic.

If I were running a news organization all of her events would be blacked out until they allowed my reporters to, you know, actually REPORT on what was happening, ask questions, and engage the candidate and the crowd.

Why the media allows itself to be nothing but a megaphone for the McCain/Palin ticket is unfathomable to me.

2. Partially true.
She does wedge her pointy heels into that lipstick smeared maw often enough, but they also legitimize her behavior and only encourage more of the same from her campaign and from future campaigns.

If news organizations blacked her out completely until they were given normal press access, then no candidate in the future would think they could do an end run around the press.

3. Obama and McCain are preparing for the debate
Obama and McCain are preparing for the debate, while Biden has taken a leave due the death of his mother in law. So... what else can they cover? Today it's Palin's day. Tomorrow we are back to normal.

5. The media needs to show her racist rants and respond with rage
There is no place in this nation today for the kind of racist rhetoric from someone seeking to be a heartbeat away from the highest position in the land.

Where is the media out rage of this?
