3. It's my understanding that all of the moderators select their own questions.

He's already shown that he's in the tank for McCain, and I suspect that's how he'll moderate.

17. That was my understanding also. I heard Gwen Ifill refer to this a few days ago.

5. Brokaw will do his best to prop up his very dear friend McLiar.
Even if McLiar stumbles, we can expect Brokaw to prop him up. If McLiar heads off on an odd tangent, Brokaw will bring him back in.

Even though the recent NYT profile showed Brokaw talking about his shuttle diplomacy to the McLiar campaign team to reassure them that even though the horrible Keith and Chris have the disgusting manners to tell the truth about the Bush gang and McLiar camapign, they can still "get a fair shake" from NBC.

So Tommy B. is just dedicated to fairness, don't you know.

9. And perhaps a "Do you think Reverend Wright loves America as much as you?" type bullshit question.

7. Maybe, but Obama will be fine, and within those questions, he can
also bring up his own questions about mccain that brokaw won't ask

8. Why dont we wait and see before we judgde?
Remember how we all judged Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson before their interviews with Failin? How did that turn out?

14. Good point
My suspicion is that Brokaw will try to keep things calm and civil, so that McInsane doesn't blow. But if he does blow, there is nothing Tom can do to help him. And Obama can handle anything. He will be careful, calm and collected just like in the first debate.

18. He picks the questions, but doesn't control the answers.
"What is your favorite color?"

"Blue. NO! Red! Wait! Aaaaggghh!"

12. I don't need a fair debate, I just need another YouTube clip of McAncient forgettting where he is

21. I sent MSNBC an email..
the other day, requesting that Mr. Brokaw contain his bias, and if that proves to be impossible, then MSNBC should paste their phone number across the screen.
