Winkin', Blinkin' and Nod -- or how to run a presidential campaign.
I never understood the nursery rhyme "Winkin', Blinkin' and Nod" until I watched the Palin/Bidin debate.

Palin's winking seems to have gotten the approval of many millions of our fellow Americans.

Her blinking occurred, most often, when she was asked a question.

And her nodding was in response to a question she could easily answer with a one-liner and then turn her response into an attack on Obama.

Somehow, I don't find it gratifying that I can finally grasp the meaning of a nursery rhyme.

How can anyone who has any semblance of a mind, or who occasionally lets a thought enter their head, vote for this woman? Not to mention her running mate who has sold his soul to whatever "devil" it is you may believe in.
