How do I post an image to where it shows up in my post?

1. go to tinypic.com

upload your picture

tinypic will provide you a link - starting with < I M G > - that you can cut and paste into the body of your post

Easy even for the technologically challenged like you and me!

3. Just post the source link to the picture

It'll show up, no tags are necessary.

I tried that, and all that showed up was a link that you had to click on to get to the picture.

8. It has to be a .JPEG or .GIF

No .PNG's or anything like that.

When you right-click on an image on the web, you will see a URL on the address line. You can copy the URL and paste it into your post, but the link above explains how to do it without stealing bandwidth.
