Does Tweety have a severe respiratory illness?
He's been coughing and hacking for WEEKS now...it's a dry, non-productive cough which he generally exhibits when the camera is focused on the guest. When he is shown again, he is often recovering from his paroxysm of coughing.

You can hear it when the other person's talking.

I'm gonna go Frist on him, since he liked him so much and say that he has an "Anxious cough" since he's in some professional trouble: contract running out, ratings dropping compared with KO and Rachel, diabetes complications, wife running around on him...wait...that last one may not be true. Oops. Sorry.

Isn't that how the Republicans do it?

3. That could well explain it. He might be left with an asthmatic cough
from that. Hope he's seeing a doctor.

2. Tweety has brittle diabetes.....
when he's in bad cycle,
when he's not eating healthy,
nor getting exercise,
or enough sleep,
or behaving himself,
his sugars are way off,
and he's susceptible to any virus or bacteria
that comes down the pike.
Add that to the cwazy hours he keeps,
his emotional roller coaster,
and flying around the nation in odd time zones
and mingling with crowds of thousands...
well, the man is a walking petri dish.

5. I have diabetes and when I get a cold just being sick raises my sugars and my cough gets worse
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 04:50 PM by Jennicut
I had a real severe sore throat recently and the cold looked like it was gone but the sore throat came back even worse and it took 4 weeks for my cough to go away. It sucks having diabetes and I'm only 32. For whatever reason my body went a little haywire after I had my second daughter and I had gestational diabetes that never went away. I just hope Chris takes good enough care of himself, sometimes I can tell just by looking at him that his sugars are probably too high. Check your meter Tweety!
