Town Halls Are Where John McCain Usually Goes Off the Wall
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 05:12 PM by IWantAnyDem
"Bomb, bomb, bomb... Bomb, bomb Iran" happened in a Town Hall.

100 years in Iraq happened in a Town Hall.

McCain gets comfortable and thinks he can say anything.

I'm just sayin'...

1. He's at his best and his worst in town halls
And this isn't a crowd made up of drooling sychophants.

2. He needs to be in fear of what Obama will say next!
Obama should put out a lot of "we are going to destroy you" hints before the debate to make McCain sweat!

4. This is a townhall debate, not a townhall rally...
...and McCain will be forced to sit across from Obama in a position where he will have to make eye contact. And lets face it, if McCain is comfortable, how much more comfortable will Obama be? When it comes to "comfortable", Obama wins. My worries are more centered around Brokaw and how even handed he will be.

6. agree...I don't trust Brokaw at all but Barack is a smart guy and
he doesn't easily rattle so he'll be fine.

7. He's not gonna get comfortable with Obama on stage with him...
...it's life or death tonight for McCain and he is a gambler - he's gonna go
all in - and he's gonna lose. My prediction!

9. I'm glad they're talking up how good McLiar is in town hall meetings.
Because I agree that he's quite awful. HAAAHNH ?

He rattles around on various tangents too. And often has dear Cindy nearby to "ground" him. I guess Tommy B. will serve that purpose tonight. Looking out for Johnny going off on limb...
