A question for tonight's debate I would like to hear
And, I would like to hear from some of you, as well.

If we bring home a large portion of the troops from Iraq, where will they find jobs? The economy is so bad, companies are laying off left and right. Paying them unemployment would still be cheaper than waging war in Iraq, but these guys and gals will be needing jobs, and a lot of them are coming back to a job that is no longer there!

I would like to hear of some sort of infrastructure project that would guarantee them employment with a living wage and benefits.
My daughter's fiancee leaves for Afghanistan for a 6 month tour soon. It's likely the job he has now will not be there when he returns. Should we not be preparing for this now?
