Ah, this is too sweet - more so because Mark Foley was involved! Their cute little play on words backfired! It sounds like it was live TV too!

‘Electile dysfunction’ confusion

Rep. Mark Foley (R-Fla.), chairman of the House Entertainment Industry Task Force, weighed in on “electile dysfunction” during an interview on the red carpet outside Tuesday evening’s Creative Coalition gala hosted by Sens. Trent Lott (R-Miss.), John McCain (R-Ariz.) and other lawmakers.

Foley and Joey Pantoliano, who played the mobster Ralphie Cifaretto on “The Sopranos,” were asked by Fuse Music Television’s V.J. Marianela to urge the network’s young viewers to fight electile dysfunction and vote.

But Pantoliano misunderstood the question and loudly exhorted viewers in TV land to battle “erectile dysfunction” and “get it up” to vote, prompting Foley to correct him on camera.
