Tell me you just don't LOVE Obama's awesome poker-faced smirk/gaze he did all night long
when he was sitting in his chair as McCain was trying to run Obama down with feeble insults. I'm talking about that splendid look on Obama's face as he sat there with that subtle sarcastic unquivering smile and a steadfast gaze that could cut through a brick wall. It was like he was saying "Can you believe what an asshole this guy is?" without actually saying it out loud. Talk about having a great game-face on...WOW!

1. very Presidential
The Obama camp knew McNasty would do this and he did. Obama--all he had to do was to sit there and look cool, as if to say, "is that all ya got?" And yes, have a look like, "can you believe this guy?"

McCain is really, truly clueless as to what to do against Obama. Nothing works and everything blows back in his face. He was a mess tonight, an absolute mess.

2. agreed
McCain tried to get near Obama to show he could look him in the eye. It worked against McCain because Obama gave him a great, are you BSing me or what look. The whole room laughed out loud several times over these moments. Worst though was the shots of McCain wandering around when Obama spoke. He came off looking confused. Just sit down.

8. My take was that McCain was so furious he couldn't sit still so
did his walk around to calm down. Several times he clenched the back of his chair. Obama was terrific, calm, collected etc.

5. It was. It's little things like that which are so important & just cannot be measured
I don't think I've ever seen a more thorough candidate and campaigner than Obama. He's covering all aspects beautifully.

15. Have you ever seen anyone who is more prepared for every situation under the sun than Obama is?
He's got it going on all cylinders...his answers, his mannerisms, the way he walks, talks, moves, smirks, stares, everything.

10. Totally masterful.
Remember Gore's sighing in the 2000 debates? Obama basically took that and neutralized it into something quite appealing: A shit-eating grin.

O had this look on his face that was like..."Really?! Tell me, Tell me, I wanna know." Like he couldn't wait to hear it.

14. I wouldn't call it subtly sarcastic. It was a zen-like calm, totally comfortable in his own skin in
front of 60million+ and the presidency on the line, while McCain flailed about trying to find a way to attack Obama. Barack seemed very confident in his abilities, but not cocky, with no fear of failure.

Can we please make him president tomorrow so he can bring in some Dems and they can get to work straightening out the mess Bush is leaving him with?

24. My room mate in college had a Python
the cool smile as the rat ran around the cage the calmeness. The Python was just waiting for his moment to strike. Obama did that all night and than he got his chance on Pakistan....and Obama nailed it.

19. Swagger, Style, and Grace! I don't know why McCain wanted
this format. He looked some old sick guy that wandered away from church in his suit. Horrible...he need not ever stand near Barack again!

I think he and his campaign know that he would be losing it. Obama always attacks with a smile.

At the opposite end is McCain, he can't control his emotions.
