12. UPDATE: Things have changed rather dramatically...

Between the British bank semi-nationalization and the U.S. Fed rate cut this morning, the numbers have shifted quite quickly. While the European markets are still down, they've regained about half their losses from a few hours ago; moreover, the DJIA, down more than 200 points earlier, is now up around 160. I get the feeling that today is going to be more reminiscent of a location a few miles east of Wall Street...Coney Island. Yep, it looks like roller-coaster time.
