John McCain reinvents himself as a big government socialist...
So let me get this straight, John McCain now is embracing the idea that we should spend billions of dollars buying up troubled mortgages and renegotiating them, but he still thinks that spending a couple of hundred million on providing adequate health care for underinsured and uninsured Americans is a bad idea because it's socialism? Where's the logic?

Oh, that's right we're talking about ignorant republicanism.

3. It's the only way out though..
he's acknowledging the inevitable, preparing his base for the wave of socialism that's coming. People will be begging for socialized health care before this is over, just as they were begging for social security after the Depression.
