"Who's more presidential?" is shorthand
it's a potent and evocative question that's really about:

Who you see as a more compelling, commanding figure with the capability to manage a crisis, deal with world leaders, and make vital decisions.

And last night that person was clearly Barack Obama.

1. 100 percent agree.
McCain seemed desperate to me.

There was only one leader on that stage. Barack Obama.

2. Is GW Bush presidential?
I think that term can pretty much be retired after the GWB era.

3. what does that have to do with..... anything?
As long as we have presidents, the term will obviously be in use. it's not a football jersey. And at this time, temperment and who is seen as most presidential is a big deal.

4. _
Because I am asking if GW Bush was more presidential than Gore or Kerry. I think we can all agree the answer was no. So we have gotten a two-term Bush anyhow. That supports my main point, which is, who gives a shit whether someone is 'presidential'.

5. There are many reasons why Bush got elected
and Kerry couldn't get an overwhelming majority to vote for him. Everything was different in the 2004 election. You are right that being "presidential" was not an issue in that race, but I think that it is an issue in this race.
