"The Topic Of Terrorism Favors Republicans" Scratching my head
Edited on Wed Oct-08-08 02:47 PM by SunsetDreams
I keep hearing that the Republicans are the best to handle the subject of Terrorism. If we are attacked again, they will win. Is that right?

Is that what they would like us to believe? Really??? I mean really????

This "War On Terror", that was started by the Bush Administration and justifiably so, after 9-11 has been anything but handled right.

I mean correct me if I'm wrong(sarcasm) we went into Iraq and took our eye off the murderous Osama Bin Laden, because....well you fill in the blank.

IMO we went in there for OIL, and GWB vendetta to finish what his Father started.

The number one question burning in my mind here....come on someone help me to the ill fated logic here.

How is it the Republicans are supposed to be the Party strong on terror, when OSAMA BIN LADEN IS STILL OUT THERE PLOTTING AGAINST US?

Somehow this just doesn't compute in my brain here.

9-11=Terrorism
9-11=Osama Bin Laden

Republicans=EPIC FAIL on Terror

1. This "War On Terror", that was started by the Bush Administration and justifiably so, BULLSHIT
You can not defeat a TACTIC. The busHitler crowd used 9/11 to shove their plan for perpetual warfare down our throats. The terrorist acts of 9/11 were crimes and they should be treated as crimes.
The response of the (p)Resident to 9/11 was also a crime.

2. Broader meaning accepted and I stand corrected...
however, picking apart one line in my post, does not address the overlying question.

3. Repugs get their strong on terror because they say so. The Corporate Controlled Media repeats it
that makes it so. At least for the sheepl who can not or will not think for themselves.
The reason that OBL has not been caught and tried is because he is a CIA asset.
Remember when the Russians were bogged down in Afghanistan? The CIA and the Reich wing sent OBL millions to set up the madrases to train resistance fighters. These later became Al Quada.

It is the same reason that Saddam was not charged with gassing his own people. He would have testified that Rumsfeld sold him the gas.

4. 9/11 was Bush's fault but dems are too weak to mention that.
