1. These guys are UNBELIEVABLE!
Until midnight last night, Kerry was a wimp for not responding to the attacks.

And now he's a wimp for responding.

8. The exact same m.o. was used by the whores against Gore in 2000.
I sincerely hope, and believe, that Kerry learned his lessons from that coup.

Only WE get to attack! You have to stand there and take it! Oh, you said a mean thing about us! Oh, only we get to say mean things about you! Oh! Oh! Oh! Unfair! Mommy!

To be expected. That's how bullies operate.

And the general consensus among experts is the way to take down a bully is to hit him where it hurts.

11. I disagree....
People need a reason to vote FOR John Kerry...Zell pretty much killed the attacks on Kerry by going nuts while performing the act....

Clinton won in 1992 against Poppa Bush despite the draft dodger womanizer dope smoker attacks...mostly because he ignored them and gave people reason to vote for him. He stressed jobs and the economy and health care.

If you remember, Poppa Bush prety much self-destructed by the end...running around the country babbling crap like "Don't cry for me Argentina" and bickering with a demonstrator in a chicken suit, while his aides blamed it all on a prescription side-effect of Halcion.

Remember, they need Kerry to get in the clinches and foul...they can't win a straight-up fight in the center of the ring on real issues.

Everybody says they hate attacks, but at the end of the day, attacks succeed in politics.

It just looks that way because *'s record is so abysmal.

15. Telling the truth about jobs and health care is not bashing
bashing is bashing....whether it's true or not. Did Dukakis let Willie Horton out of prison? Yes, he did. Did Dukakis let the attack ads throw him off message? Yes, he did.

12. Sorry but I respectfully disagree,
Watching msnbc last night, all they talked about is Kerry needing to go on the offensive and then today all of a sudden it is "kerry needs to not go on the offensive.."

This is what the media did to Gore and look what happened. Don't fall for that again, the people want action, I promise you, the Bush camp is coming out like Kerry is not only a flip flopper but a wimp and the dems are just as bad..

It is time to beat them at their own game, to back down now would be political suicide, some Americans are just to happy being lead, they do little or no research and only follow the eveing news...

Offensive attacks is the only way to win this one...round one we lost because of backing up, round two should be a no brainer on how to run this campaign..

22. People are looking for a reason TO come out and vote...
a low turnout is guaranteed in a negative race....and the Republicans can win with a low turnout. But any sort of decent turnout, and they're doomed.

The bandaid backfired, the slimeboatters backfired, and Zell's hatefest backfired big time. Of course they want to pretend to be afraid they're going to get bashed. They can win in the clinches with chippy attacks, but they can't win a fight in the center of the ring on issues that matter.

19. sorry we already know what Kerry has planned...
we have heard it since the convention..what they haven't done is explain WHY these a-holes don't deserve to get re-elected...when Kerry was silent and ignored the attacks...and tried to stay above the fray....his numbers went down...

he isn't attacking..he is speaking out..this is NOT nazi germany...and we have a right to point out the "miscalculations" that have been going on for the last 3 1/2 years..people NEED and deserve the truth...

7. Has he bashed them yet??
Kerry has been above the fray, the only bashers have been the Bushies.. He had to respond to the unfit for command but he has been civil in most of his speeches and I see kerry talking about his plans a hell of alought more then Bush for the next 4 years.. CNN is just the conservative news network.. They can go cheney themselves.. The only news channel I can stomach is msnbc, and it is just a tad bit better then the asskissing Faux and the conservative news network..

21. so many of these talking heads are paid public relations mouths
So, which corporation or campaign is paying for these two.

Seems to me, Bill Schneider leans Republican/corporate.

Consider the source. I think Kerry absolutely did the right thing.

23. Wolfie and Schneider are shitting themselves!
They know if Kerry runs his campaign based on last nights Ohio rally shrub and his sidekick will be exposed for what they truly are. This is the best evidence that Kerry has hit the mark on pulling away in this race!

His campaign better not even consider straying from this position.
