McCain is running out of money and the GOP is about to pull the plug
I said this last week. Not taking Public Financing was the smartest thing Obama did. There is speculation that he raised 100,000,000 last month. McCain had around 85 million to spend from the time he was coronated till November. Obama has as much as he can raise. The fundraising was thought to be equal because of the GOP's numbers compared to the DNC. However, John does not control GOP money the GOP does. The GOP Senate and house fund raising arms have underperformed their DNC counter parts. Right now the GOP is looking at the worst possible situation they could have had in years. Their is a legit chance for a 60 vote Democratic Senate. Even if the Dems only get to 57 or 58 RINOS like Arlen Spectre, Olympia Snowe, and Susan Collins will cross party lines on certain issues and court appointments. Dumbass Traitor Joe despite all our calls for his being kicked out of all committees will make a deal as well. The GOP is looking dead in its face at its worst nightmare. A moderately liberal President with a filabuster proof Senate on many issues. Obama's hand will get tired from signing so much legislation. Even if the GOP makes a comeback in the next 8 years they will be dealing with something to the akin of what they dealt with after Roosevelt. They will never be able to undo 75% of what Obama accomplishes.

The desperation to stop that would be to cut McCain off from a large swarth of funding and deploy Palin into territory to boost GOP Senate chances and voter turnout from christian conservatives. Three states that come to mind right away is NC, KY, GA. If the race doesn't tighten by next week and you start seeing Palin in KY with McConnel you know what's going on.
