Michelle on LKL: "We're going to need John McCain, we're going to need Cindy McCain"
"We're going to need everyone to fix this crisis."

This in response to Cindy's quote that Barack is "running the dirtiest campaign ever" and LK's attempts to get her to dish in return.

Amazing interview.

America: I don't know how you wound up with the chance to put these two people in the White House at this point in time, but you'd be fools to pass them up.

1. It'll be interesting to see if Palin will take the high road tonight
The contrast will be startling if she chooses a different route.

6. LOL - She is talking to HANNITY.
I think we know what is going to happen.

They are going on Hannity just so he will bring up the sh#$ and it will get more coverage.

2. My take....If McCain wins he'll pivot back and ask Obama for assistance
and Obama will accept the request.

Politics is 95% theater. When the cameras are on during peak hours you rip into the other side. When the cameras are off you take off the boxing gloves, shake hands and meet up at the bars and social events.

5. Even with a loss by Barak...I see a D majority in the Sen and Lieberman kicked to the curb
If McCain wants to reach across he's going to have to go through Obama.

Even Jesse Helms said that while he disagreed with Clinton 100 percent politically he liked the man "personally".

7. McCain acts like a racist. He will not reach out to him. He is so
Edited on Wed Oct-08-08 09:18 PM by The Wielding Truth
full of himself, much like Bush, that if he would win McCain would lead like he campaigns like a scattered brained snarky dictator.

He has so much in common with Bush in that he was raise privileged and spoiled,Partied through schools and failed in much of his responsibilities(piloting, and any personally executive decisions).

We really don't need a war hero, beauty contestant,or a cheerleader in the Whitehorse now. We need a constitutional scholar and community organizer, who is assisted by a responsible devoted single parent!

4. the irony was that McCain was running an incredibly nasty commercial
during that show emphasizing how Obama was not to be trusted and how dangerous he was.

Score one for the Obamas and their innate dignity.
