GA POLL (R): McCrypt 50 (-2), Obama 43 (+4)
Below are the results are based on telephone interviews with 800 likely voters in Georgia, aged 18+, and conducted October 5-7, 2008 by telephone. The margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.

1. If the election for President were held today would you support the Democratic ticket of Barack Obama and Joseph Biden, he Republican ticket of John McCain and Sarah Palin or the Libertarian ticket of Bob Barr and Wayne Root?
McCain/Palin 50%
Obama/Biden 43%
Barr/Root 2%
Undecided 5%

2. Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Barack Obama? Favorable 50%
Unfavorable 38%
Undecided 12%

3. Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Joseph Biden? Favorable 43%
Unfavorable 37%
Undecided 20%

4. Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of John McCain? Favorable 48%
Unfavorable 38%

5. Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Sarah Palin?

4. The favorability ratings tell me it would have been winable
with a VP from the south. I doubt that Obama will win George now, but he will come within single-digits.
