WOW!

They had to be there, I guess they had to clap but it was like a fucking wake.

2. I find that clapping tradition really strange
"uh, dudes, dudettes, you're just buying and selling shit..."

3. That would be "buying and selling paper."
Shit doesn't even actually exist anymore--at least not in the good ole US of A.

6. Awful
This is absolutely catastrophic for the American people. This is a full on Crash now. The DOW has now lost %39.5 in the last year. This is unlike anything in our lifetimes. It is terrifying to middle class folks. Our economy looks like it is collapsing. Partisan politics aside, we need to find away out of this mess together. What is wiping out Wall Street right now will be hitting Main Street in the coming months. This is going to be rough people. Retired folks could lose everything they've worked their whole lives for. I fear for my parents who just recently retired.

7. I get really upset because we had people on these boards who
had been sounding alarms for literally the last few years. DU is generally ahead of the curve. I respect our talented members quite a bit.

4. Yes I did! Like the commentator said, they wish the bell could have rung at
noon! As I posted on another thread, our 401K is being slammed hard, but we live very frugally so we'll be ok. I'm thrilled that the greedy AH'S are now paying the price for their actions!

5. Like the folks on the deck of the Titanic all applauding isn't it?
Very odd.

Jon Stewart ought to do a bit on that.
