For those who have heard the "Bush earned that ribbon in training"

argument, I've triple checked. Bush was assigned to the 3550th Student Squadron in the 3550th Air Training Command. This unit never once received the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award.

Watch for it, because this excuse for the ribbon is being floated from a most interesting "inside" source. Keep your eyes out on this story, it's just starting to get good!

Walt, I think with the Ben Barnes story coming up on 60 minutes, the Salon.com, "Missing Year" article, and Kerry starting an 'attack mode', your story has a better chance of making it into the mainstream. Can you drop a hint if you have any info about that?

I wonder what Kitty Kelly will have to say about 'National Guard-gate' in her tell-all book about the Bushes (coming to a bookstore near you on Sept. 14).
