The market really came unglued today when GM and GMAC's credit rating were rumored to be cut by S&P.

We are in a financial meltdown. There are more sellers than buyers. Mutual funds, both stock and bond, had net redemptions of 77 billion last month alone. They have had 50 billion in the first week of October alone.

That is not short selling, that is long selling.
