Hogs turn into Boars in a very short time ..
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 06:43 PM by TheCoxwain
Upheavals can bring out the animal in us in a very short time ...

Hogs which have been domesticated over many centuries can return to their feral state within a couple generations if left in the wild - they grow long hair and tusks ..

Evolution that has allowed man to develop rational thoughts and consequently the social norms of good/appropriate/bad will be thrown to the wind if the primitive functions of our brain take control ...The primitive function like fear, lust hunger are found even in reptiles and a very strong part of our emotional response... Rational thought is a much newer layer in evolutionary chain and cannot really control our actions when we are in flight/fight mode.

That is why the GOP is playing with fire by using these these racist innuendos..

All the latent racists -- who were 'conditioned' to behave in socially acceptable manner - suddenly feel emboldened to speak out in racist tones--

Any Republican reading this -- please pass this on to members of your party...

We need action based on calm and reasoned thought at this critical time -- we do not need action based on fear/hatred.
