Kitchen sink strategy
I am sorry I need to ask but I never really understood that term. Could you please explain it to me?

1. Ever heard the phrase "everything but the kitchen sink".....
Means the campaign is down so far that they have to turn to desperately reaching for anything...so they're using everything but the kitchen sink...

7. I love the America I got to know
over the last years (and I don't mean the government but the people). And sometimes I feel more at home in the U.S. than in Germany.

So I feel very at home here on DU.

9. Herzlich willkommen!
It means: "Aus Verzweiflung alles probieren was nur moeglich ist. Ein angenagelter Kuechenausguss ist keine Moeglichkeit."

13. Oh yes. But American by choice. I have been here a long time, and love this country.
When Obama wins, I will sit back in my spare time and paint pictures, read books, and listen to music.
Should Racism or dirty elections take over, I am outta here. I have had enough in the last 8 years.

Though, I might go to law school, and become a prosecutor somewhere, get Bugliosi on my side, and prosecute Bush.

14. I love the U.S. as well
it is my dream to live there, but as it looks at the moment I won't live that dream. There are plus and minus for the U.S. and for Germany. Germany is winning right now.

I was a nanny in Davidson, NC 14 years ago and an intern in Savannah, GA 10 years ago. I miss it.

I'm from Augsburg - by the way.
