Did Bush's audience today boo when he wished Clinton well?
As another thread pointed out, AP moved a story saying that Bush's audience in West Allis, Wisc., booed when he mentioned Clinton and wished him well. And that Bush didn't try to stop the boos.

And then a new story appeared with that paragraph gone.

And then Drudge posts this:

AP CLAIMS: 'AUDIENCE OF THOUSANDS BOOS' AFTER BUSH WISHES EX-PREZ 'SPEEDY RECOVERY'; 'Bush did nothing to stop them'...

THEN RETRACTS... 'APPLAUSE' NOTED BY LOCAL MEDIA FOR EX-PREZ... AUDIO... DEVELOPING...

He links to a transcript of Bush's remarks that includes this: (applause) after Bush's remarks.

Seems that a review of the videoand audiotape is in order. Did anyone see it?

2. I didn't hear the boo's
which isn't to say there weren't any, just didn't hear them.

Somebody here on DU posted a screenshot of the original AP article earlier, pointing out the edit. I'm wondering whether Drudge found it here.

Now that I look...I guess that isn't the release from AP, It's from Boston.com.
