and McCain shakes his head...no...."he's an outstanding, family man" :wow:

You know what, MY FRIEND....you started the hate...YOU fueled the fire of the vicious bigotry...

Wrap yourself in a rebel flag, McCain...the American flag is TOO GOOD FOR YOU

1. I think it's over for McCrypt
He needs to go finally just go away. He has set race relations back, endangered Obama's life and dishonored himself & this country during a very difficult time.

3. Just saw that. McCain didn't "start the hate." It started long ago.
It started in the Reagan years, but it took this guy to bring it to full frution. McCain did the right thing there, and he is irrelevant now.

This guy will still be with us, and he has gotten a free pass for years. Maybe not so much anymore, I hope.

6. To clarify....
McCain (and Palin) "allowed" the hate to continue the last few days by their SILENCE that spoke volumes in not correcting those peoples comments. I agree it was started long ago...but in 2008 to NOT do something about the blatant bigotry for how many days? It infuriates me...

8. We agree, except Palin was hardly "silent." She egged it on.
She is setting herself up to be a power in the party after the inevitable defeat.

McCain is finished, and she knows it.

10. McCain is like a sly attorney....get the witness to say something you WANT the jury to hear
...but know that its going to get over-ruled by the judge... Damage is DONE...and he thinks that 3 days later, saying that Obama is a good Christian family man...not an Arab? C'mon...he's been in politics for 25+ years remember...he's NOT new to this...he's the Mav'WRECK...

this is so blatantly disgusting...

This is what I’m gonna hear from my right wing “friends”: so i put on fox news and apparently mccain was taking up for obama today...wow, isn't that what i just wished for!! yippee… :puke:

4. Karma? Chickens coming home to roost?
This is amazing, actually. He's lost independents and hardcore fiscal conservatives, his only constituency left was low-information, easily incited, mob mentality, Arab-phobic, cultural right-wingers, and now that group is now booing him! For telling them not to be scared of an Obama presidency! Painted in to a corner, McCain is forced to defend Obama, and that will be his undoing.

Seriously, Obama is going to win, like 42 states or something.

14. No he did not do well. She asked if Obama is an Arab terrorist-
He answered that he's not an Arab- he's a "Family man thereby directly implying that you cannot be both and not even mentioning that all Arabs are not terrorists. A total racist insult to people of all descents.

http://www.time-blog.com/swampland/2008/10/mccain_denounces_pitchforkwave.html

Indeed, (McCain) just snatched the microphone out the hands of a woman who began her question with, "I'm scared of Barack Obama... he's an Arab terrorist..."

"No, no ma'am," he interrupted. "He's a decent family man with whom I happen to have some disagreements"

19. I think she only said "Arab" not terrorist, which is what made it much worse
McCain had to defend Obama from being "accused" of being Arab!! And the amazing thing is that he didn't offer the correct response, which is "no, Obama is African-American, not Arabic" - but his utterly dispicable response was that he was a "decent family man" - which of course is true, but what does that have to do with being Arab or not?

15. He let it go on all week, people screaming "terrorist" at his own rally's and
he did nothing. Whether he put this fire out before it became raging inferno we'll see in the next few days. I think it was too little too late and that McSAME is so weak he has little or no control over his followers. How "well" he did remains to be seen. :yoiks:

17. McCain has lost control
not just of his campaign - Sarah Palin who is fueling this abomination - but of his supporters.

They have lit a fire unlike anything seen since the early 60s with the race baiting, hate mongering and violence inciting.

He has no clue as to how to play this both ways, pretty much because there is no way to play this both ways. You either denounce and condemn your own supporters (because they are stupid racist fucks) or you don't. And if you don't condemn them you lose the support of moderate, non racist conservatives. If you do condemn it, you lose Sarah's base, shich is why you picked her in the first place. Those folks never liked McCain. Now nobody likes Mccain.

He invited his crazies to opine, according to their most extreme psychopathic nature.
