CBS Evening News: once again leads the way (truthful reporting)
Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 05:53 PM by Cush
Well, at least the most truthful out of the bunch

Talked about how the Jobs report isn't as strong as it appears, not enough new jobs to keep up with population growth, etc. First admin to have a negative net job loss since Hoover

Also talked about Bush talking about new ideas & new plans, but there was no detail on how he will do it. Also said that Bush is trying to shift the election AWAY from the topics/concerns (economy, healthcare, etc) and make it "about him as a man"

1. The job numbers were not even good enough to keep up with population
growth.

6. 1,2 million college graduates this year....
They alone would soak up all these manufacturing (burger flipping) jobs that the Bushistas are crowing about. If the true unemployment numbers were put out, they would top 10 percent.

5. Will do.
It is imortant to let them know they are gaining viewers while others are losing. Reinforce the good not just criticize the bad.

4. I've been listening to
them too and they seem to be fair. It's refreshing after the cable stuff and most people still watch the major network not cable.
