Did anybody keep track
of how much time the cable and broadcast coverage gave to Dems commenting on the RNC? And how that might compare to the time they gave Repubs to comment on the DNC? I just checked http://mediamatters.org/, and although they have a graphic of the total air time given to the two conventions (Repugs got more, of course) I can't find anything on how much commentary there was from "the loyal opposition"

He did write a letter to CNN after the Dem convention suggesting that they give equal time to Dems at the Repug convention, but I can't find any follow up on that.

Anybody know?

1. CBS/NBC gave 3 hours each.
ABC gave them an extra 30 minutes during Monday Nigh Football's halftime show. :puke:

Yes they went over for * but they WOULD have done the same for Kerry.

Yes!

2. No, I mean the commentators during the coverage...
Most of the people the cable and broadcast news had as "commentators" during the Democratic convention were repugs, whose job it was to disparage or contradict what the speakers were saying. My question is, did the news coverage have an equal number of Democratic commentators on during the Republican convention?
