Let's take a collective deep breath...
that's it...in...out...in...out...relax! John Kerry knows what he's doing...he has a good sense of timing and he is not afraid of a good fight. Let's not panic...let's not fret...let's get the goddamned vote out folks and quit the hand wringing. Let's stop acting like children who didn't get their juice break...again, let's get the vote out...that's what counts, more than talk. :-)

1. Exactly! Kerry knows what he's doing.
He's being himself and this is his normal campaign/election style.

He's getting rid of each issue as Bush brings them up and taking W's ammo away from him.

5. I feel great!
before the RNC I thought I would go through a period of feeling down just because of a week of having to listen to the media reporting their crap.

But I feel energized and positive! The RNC was a joke. Think about it: the twins, Zell, etc. And they did nothing but exploit 9/11. They had nothing but Bush throwing out a baseball and standing at ground zero.

I'm going to our county Dem HQ open house and I have volunteered to do voter canvassing.

6. No, he doesn't know what he's doing
Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 06:46 PM by Armstead
He's blowing an election where he had everything going for him.

Sorry but it is very angering. Especially since he is following the sasme playbook that has steadily eroded the Democratic base.

He has to take the gloves off for real, and and take on these guys on their terms -- but with our values. Alas, voters don't want "Mr. Nice Guy." They want a tough terminator.

Kerry's got to prove that he knows how to fight the terrorists, and also how to fight for the light.

8. I am sitting in my little town in SE Michigan looking at all kinds of
Kerry bumper stickers and signs everyday on the streets. I am talking with people who are hopeful for a more positive future. I am not watching a television where almost ever newscaster projects their own opinion into a story these days. Nothing has changed. People are still angry over soldiers dying, lack of health care, children being "left behind"...not to mention their teachers. I'm focusing on whats right.

Just a little sad we can't have decent debate over honest concerns about the campaign here anymore. :hi:

9. Don't despair Mrs.G...
this is a little case of indigestion. I can't really blame people who had to listen to that RNC filthy crap all week long...it's bound to depress. But I am seeing the same things that you are seeing in my small town in NH...people have had it!

10. On the one hand he knows what he is doing
OTOH, he did let the SBVT get away a bit too long but he can overcome it. I think the thing I would rather see are posts wherein people RESPONSIBLY express their concerns with suggestions that the Kerry campaign could easily glean ideas from...it's the F.U.D posts that I think need to be addressed.

We cannot totally blame Kerry for anything. WE ARE THE TEAM.
