My 51 year old brother has never voted ... ever!

I found out this evening that he has finally registered to vote ... and he is voting for Obama! :bounce:

I never understood not registering to vote, I registered the day I turned eighteen.

He didn't say what finally made him to do it, but I'm sure the economy played a big part in it.

It's funny ... I said, "Who are you voting for?" and he said, "What are you kidding?! I'm not voting for McCain! Obama ... I'm going with Obama!"

Our parents and grandparents always voted. Our older sister always voted. For some reason, he never cared enough to vote. :shrug:

It's very foreign to me (age 51 myself ) that someone that old has never voted. I couldn't wait to cast my first Presidential vote for Carter in '76.

Anyway, congrats - I hope voting becomes a habit for him.
