The Republicans are trying to redirect America's current anger and focus it on Obama as the target.

IOW, whoever came up with the brilliant idea to whip up the base into a frothing tsunami was just a tad bit short sighted in not realizing that the vast majority of voters are not vacuous airheads like their base.
