3. Sounds like the pool of undecided voters is drying up
and rapidly...

6. Note that 3% of that lead is from Independents. It'd be higher if hispanics were for Obama
more, but McCain has a lead with that voting block. What's up with that, I wonder? The hispanics in FL are mainly from Cuba, I think. Bush won them big time. Is it a religious thing, I wonder?

7. No, the Cubans are Republican ever since the failed Bay of Pigs invasion. Also, Janet Reno and
Bill Clinton/Al Gore were blamed for the Elian Gonzalez fiasco and now the Cuban Repubs are saying that Obama will meet Fidel or Raul Castro without pre-conditions. But now the other Hispanic groups are beginning to outnumber the Cubans. Many more Hispanics, pro-Obama in the I-4 Corridor who will give Obama a victory in Florida.

9. A large percentage of Hispanics of any ethnic/country origin are Catholic
so not religious per se. It's more likely the now-older Batista group is being over-polled since they have always been "likely voters"... and the new registrations of other groups are not being taken into account... The revolution was over 50 years ago now and their grown children/grandchildren have started assimilating into the population and don't really care anymore. I think their purported power is now exaggerated from the reality.

10. Good point. The older Cubans are now being outnumbered by the young Cuban-Americans born in Florida
and they are pro-Obama.
