45 Million Westerners Tell Easterner Dick Cheney To "Go Fu#@* Yourself"
Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 11:02 PM by David Zephyr
Dick Cheney spent only seven years of his adult life in Wyoming and the rest of his adult life in Washington, D.C. with a very brief time in the Southern state of Texas. Seven years! And Dick's an authority of understanding the West? Dick Cheney's as much of a cowboy as George Bush is a combat soldier!

Yes, just seven little years of Dick Cheney's adult life were even spent in Wyoming where less than 500,000 people live (less than the San Fernando Valley neighborhoods in the City of Los Angeles, to provide a little "western perspective") and Dick Cheney now pretends to be an expert on who "understands the West". What a laugh this is!

In fact, in my great western home state of California alone in 2004, Al Gore and Joe Lieberman beat George Bush and Dick Cheney by a margin of over One Million votes.

More than 45 Million people in the Western Coastal states of California, Oregon and Washington will be delivering ALL of their electoral votes to John Kerry. In fact, it's such a foregone conclusion that these three Western states with 45 MILLION residents are Kerry Country that the Bush/Cheney Campaign has written them completely off as "unwinnable".

Sorry, Dick: It's you that doesn't understand The West...and The West doesn't understand, or for that matter, even like you at all.

And one last thing, Dick: Western men do not wear shoulder pads, like you do, in their suit jackets.

1. The only thing Cheney understands, or cares about,
is the fact that Nevada is a swing state.

Period.

2. Cheney's got a place in Jackson Hole now
And there's all this spooky looking khaki Army equipment around to protect him.

We had a river guide who said he was on the raft while Cheney was having a fishing expedition, and there were SS guys scuba diving in the river (in about 3-5 ft of water.) He asked 'em if they were supposed to put the fish on Cheney's hook.

3. No kidding?
I was reading an article in Newsweek about how he was teaching his granddaughters to ride horsies on the Wyoming ranch.

I'd kill myself if I was related to that disgusting, sneering crook.

7. Another tidbit about big man Cheney
He likes to shoot birds released for him from a net for target practice.

Cheney in region for a day of small-game hunting

Cheney shot more than 70 ringneck pheasants and an unknown number of mallard ducks. The birds were plucked and vacuum-packed in time for Cheney's afternoon flight to Washington, D.C.

John Smith, law enforcement supervisor for the Pennsylvania Game Commission, said he was alerted to Cheney's day-trip. Rolling Rock has a game-raising program worthy of a second-in-command, he said, and unlicensed bird hunting is legal this time of year for guests at private clubs.

Scott Wakefield, a dog handler at the club, said about 500 farm-raised pheasants were released from nets for the morning hunt. The 10-man hunting party that included Cheney shot 417 pheasants. The vice president was set to hunt ducks in the afternoon.

********

What a he-man hunter! He's also in favor of enacting a law in Wyoming to allow "section-line" hunting, in which you can drive your vehicle along the roads that border sections (1 square mile) and shoot out of it on to private or government property.

13. Section line hunting???? That's abominable!
What a Neanderthal. Jackson Hole is beautiful. Too bad they couldn't boot his slimy ass out of there for some reason (too much traffic? too much shooting? whatever lol). Geezus.

11. Read the latest Rolling Stone with Michael Moore on the cover ...
They take a knife to Dick Cheney and carve him up piece by piece. Everyone should read this article. It will scare the shit out of you. What a lunatic!!! It's a devastating piece.

One note of comfort I got out of the article: Every president Cheney has worked for has lost -- Ford & Bush I.

12. That was a fantastic article.
Saw it as soon as it came out. Love how it talks about all of his deferments and his job with Halliburton. The man is poison.
