Dear Senator Kerry, as a committed supporter...
I'd like to make two requests of you.

1. Call a press conference and clearly forcefully debunk the Swifty Liars' claims point-by point, explain how each one of them either didn't serve with you, and how some have contradicted their previous praise of you. Then tell the country that you have answered the ludicrous charges once and for all, annd that you will NOT be wasting ANY more of the people's time on such ludicrous charges.

2. STOP harping on your Vietnam service. We get it. You served honorably, you were wounded in battle. You even came back to expose the atrocity that was Vietnam, (even though then, as now, people like the Swift Boat liars did NOT want to hear the truth.)
We get it, but it is 2004. Instead, PLEASE keep the focus on how YOU will be TOUGH on terrorism, UNLIKE Bush, who has mollycoddled the Saudis who sponsored 9-11 to the point that his confidante and lawyer James Baker even DEFENDED the Saudis against OUR 9-11 victims' families! There is so much to attack Bush on, but you just keep telling us about Vietnam and your social agenda. I think your social agenda is great, but it's national security that Bush is getting the upper hand on, in spite of the fact that he IGNORED the Aug 6. warning, FAILED to prevent 9-11, FAILED to catch the Anthrax killer, FAILED to complete the war in Afghanistan before going to murder Iraq for no reason whatsoever.

Hammer away on the bastard, and tell how you'll be tougher. Commend Putin on handling the recent hostage crisis as he did. Say that you'd do it the same way. I sure would. Let the people know that you will NEVER cave in to the demands of terrorists and hostage takers, and then repeat that message over and over.

Bush 1 didn't tell people OVER and OVER how he served in WWII back in '88. And Kennedy certainly didn't harp on PT-109 to that degree (luckily, he had a much more helpful press than you have today.) Everyone understands that you went, and Bush-Cheney chickened out, but THAT's not enough to sway the idiot "Swing voters" to go your way.

Respectfully Yours, "Udokier"

2. Mr. Kerry
Its time to stop listening to campaign coordinators and instead to start listening to the voters. We are begging you to get aggressive, and start pounding on the lies spewed by this administration. Stand up for us, and we will stand behind you.

4. That's why the rebuttal is first.
As I said, address it in a press conference, point-by-point and forcefully, then put it behind you.

I'm not saying he should never mention his service in Vietnam, just don't make it the focal point of EVERY SINGLE SPEECH as he's been doing. He's harping on it too much.

6. I agree. It's the smear boat liars who are keeping it in the news.

But Kerry does need to fight a lot more aggressively. People are fed up with what's happened in the last 4 years, we're angry, & we've been at the boiling point since the Iraq war started. We've had enough, which is why we're well organized on the internet, speaking angrily on chat boards. It's also why Howard Dean -- an unknown to most of us -- & his angry anti-Dubya, anti-war message was so well received.

If Kerry would show that same anger, the anger that propelled the Democrats to action on the internet, he'll energize his base & give us the confidence that we deserve. We've been the ones who have been victimized by this administration & we need Kerry to translate our passion & put Dubya in his place. Lord knows, Dubya has given us enough ammunition. He's got it coming to him.
