Repeat after me, 9-11 wasn't anyone's shining hour
it was a mistake by an idiot on vacation. Credit Bill Maher. And that should be our mantra! FDR didn't run on Pearl Harbor and we shouldn't let Bush run on 9-11.As Martha would say ,9-11 was not "a good thing," and it is nothing for any president to be proud of!

1. That bush turned this around was the all time #1 con job
since the dawn of man. Keeping this con alive is, I think, partly the motivation of a lot of this other crazy shit.

4. If I fucked up and 3,000 innocent civilians died because of
I didn't take my job seriously (vacationing 43% of the time)and willfully disregarded the multiple intel warnings on impending attacks, I guess I'd be doing just about anything to distract the public from this rather obvious crime. Maybe even start WW3 to save my cowardly ass.

Sadly, the Republican Party faithful have happily accepted this criminal incompetence, even embraced it as some badge of honor. They've even nominated him for a 2nd term. What does a person have to do to be accountable by these people? Kill 30,000 civilians? 300,000?

Makes me wonder why they hate America so much.

8. Perhaps it's the evangelical christian thinking
where the more you screwed up in the past the more you are forgiven.
The real christian "heros" in any of those congregations are the most notorious former dope/alcohol/gambling etc. fiends. This same thinking might be being applied here.

He "repented"!

17. Seems to be a fundemental tenant of the Evangelical Movement.
You can spend all your time being the worst possible person....as long as, at some point, you can say, "I believe Jesus Christ is my personal saviour"....then the slate is wiped clean and your character flaws no longer count.

In George's case, it even innoculates you against any future displays of unChristianly action. It's like having a permanent "Get Out of Hell" free card.

was the nation's compassion and outreach to the city and people of New York after the tragedy.

5. I think it's telling that in one Zogby report,
they asked what Bush’s Most Significant Accomplishment was. 46% said 9/11. :wtf: 9/11 was an accomplishment????

6. I have one thing to ask.
People have said that Bush handled 9/11 well even if they agree with me that he politicized it for his own benefit. My question is How can Bush, or anybody have handled something like that well? Yes you can get up and talk tough and be a big man, but beyond that, what has he really done?

10. Yes. But that's not what happened did it?
Clinton did not let a number of things happen. He got no credit for it.

12. I need quotes and images for an antiBush ad I am creating
I need what Ashcroft said in summer 2001 about terrorism

I need really badly a photo of Bush fishing. A large one perferably.

SWVfT got lots of press with a small TV buy that was controversial. We can do something similar if we put our heads together. This will not be a TV ad it will be on paper so it can literally be disseminated anywhere.

Email Bush pics to somnamblst@yahoo.com

about the failure of the Government to protect people from terrorism on 911. :hi:
